In order to preserve the grass in the park, and to allow everyone a chance to get a good seat each night, GTIP holds what is called a BLANKET RUN. Take a look!
At 3pm on a show day, gather at the top of the hill with your chairs and blankets. A city employee will do a countdown and then run for the best spot you can get. If you come after 3 o’clock, you can leisurely walk down and stake your spot. Then walk away and come back whenever you want and your spot is saved. Or bring your seats with you when you come for the show, but be prepared to sit further back.
There is a line painted on the ground in the front. Only blankets allowed in front of that line. Chairs and blankets behind the line please.
